Art Rimando co-founded and currently works at Confluence Denver, a project management firm that addresses social issues through community and civic engagement and focuses on youth, education, community development and health. Before that, Art spent 28 years with Mile High United Way (MHUW) and was responsible for agency relations and funds distribution, including MHUW’s evaluation of agency outcomes. During his last eight years with MHUW, Art was MHUW’s director of youth success. In that role, he researched, directed, managed and evaluated all youth-related programs, initiatives and funding for MHUW, with an emphasis on youth development, after-school programs, mentoring and education. He worked with an array of stakeholders, including youth agencies, school districts, government agencies and funders. Prior to MHUW, Art was the director of a youth employment and training program.
