Description:
The purpose of this program is to create equity in health, well-being, and opportunity for Colorado’s children and families. Funding will support projects that fall under one of the following focus areas:
- Healthy beginnings: Projects under this focus area support infants, young children, and their caregivers to have equitable access to supportive resources that nurture healthy development.
- Healthy youth: Projects under this focus area support the healthy development of youth ages 10 to 25 by promoting youth-friendly services that center youth voices and address systemic inequities.
- Strong and resilient families: Projects under this focus area support families in having equitable access to resources that nurture development, behavioral health, stability, and healthy relationships.
- Public policy advocacy: Projects under this focus area involve public policy advocacy and systems change at the local, county, and state levels to support efforts that align with the other focus areas.
