Description:
The purpose of this program is to provide underprivileged individuals, with a focus on youth, with the resources to improve their confidence and education and the opportunity to achieve extraordinary goals. Support may be provided in the form of monetary awards or in-kind donations of items for auctions or raffles. Awards will be made to support the following areas of giving:
- Empowerment: providing safe homes for children who come from traumatic pasts to help them with their hurt and give them a new start
- Education: support for technology, reading incentives, and help for teachers with out-of-pocket expenses
- Wellness: support for organizations providing child-friendly health services that go beyond providing medical services and extending to all forms of holistic care
- Hunger: providing healthy food to children who might otherwise go hungry
- Hope: creating connections with children and providing them with a sense of normalcy that allows them to overcome their obstacles
