Defense Community Infrastructure Pilot Program

Description:
The purpose of this program is to address deficiencies in community infrastructure supportive of a military installation. For the purposes of this program, a military installation is defined as a base, camp, post, station, yard, center, homeport facility for any ship, or other activity under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of Defense, including any leased facility, which is located within any state, the District of Columbia, or U.S. territory, and does not include any facility used primarily for civil works, rivers and harbors projects, or flood control projects.
Projects will be prioritized in the following order:
  1. Projects that improve the quality of life of service members and their families
  2. Projects that provide resilience
  3. Projects that provide military value
