Description:

Funding is intended to improve rehabilitation outcomes for traumatic brain injuries through proper collection and assessment of data.

The Administrator of the Administration for Community Living establishes a priority for the funding of a TBI Model Systems National Data and Statistical Center that advances rehabilitation by increasing the rigor and efficiency of scientific efforts to longitudinally assess the experience of people with TBI. To meet this priority, the TBI Model Systems National Data and Statistical Center’s research and technical assistance must be designed to contribute to outcomes specified by the funding agency.
