Amount: $1,000 sponsorships

The purpose of this program is to support community and school gardens. Awards will be provided for starting new gardens or to support existing school or community gardens that need some extra funding to take off. Awards may be used for activities such as involving children in the process of growing a garden or helping people to connect with each other while adding visibility and mentoring to a current or proposed community garden.

Award recipients will need to either post a small sign in their garden informing the community of the sponsorship or make an announcement in a school or community newsletter.
