The purpose of this program is to support non-health care community groups in a wide variety of educational, cultural, and civic initiatives. This program emphasizes contributions to organizations located in the communities where funding agency employees live and work. Support is also provided for local and national initiatives to help communities across the country encourage the healthy development of youth by reducing high-risk behavior, including substance abuse.
