Description:

The purpose of this program is to support charitable efforts of organizations using the power of volunteers to improve their communities. Awards provided through this program will consist of The Home Depot gift cards that may be used for the purchase of tools, materials, and/or services to complete projects that will make a strong and lasting impact on the community. Projects should focus on serving veterans within local communities, or alternatively, focus on serving diverse, underserved communities. Projects should also be volunteer-friendly and engage people of all skill levels.

Projects that involve rehabilitation or construction activities, including projects that involve community buildings, living facilities, or individual homes, must be focused on maintaining compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and safety regulations.
