Description:
The purpose of this program is to help K-12 students learn about plants, explore their world, and be inspired to take care of the life they discover in their local ecosystems. The program helps the Klorane Botanical Foundation to further its mission to teach respect for the environment and protect nature through the preservation of plant species and biodiversity.
Applicants must be planning to establish a new or expand an existing school garden program designed to teach students about environmental sustainability and the importance of biodiversity. Successful applicants will receive a package of tools and educational materials, as well as a cash award to spend on materials for the garden.
