Larimer County Department of Natural Resources: Small Grants for Community Partnering

Description:
The purpose of the program is to support Colorado organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and individuals in eligible locations for neighborhood and community projects related to the environment. Funding is intended to foster a connection between residents and the land. Projects must be located or take place within Larimer County.
Proposed projects must be in accordance with the mission of the Larimer County Open Lands Program and fall into one or more of the five Small Grants for Community Partnering categories listed below.
  1. Provides or enhances natural areas, including wildlife habitat, river areas and wetlands.
  2. Provides public linkages with existing open lands and parks. Linkages may be either trails or wildlife habitat.
  3. Provides opportunities for environmental education, outdoor recreation or nature interpretation.
  4. Provides opportunities for people to connect with the land via agriculture or increased access to open spaces and natural areas.
  5. Provides research on Larimer County open spaces
