Description:
The purpose of this program is to increase the number of low-income children receiving high-quality, comprehensive early education services that help facilitate healthy development, including physical and social/emotional development, and prepare them for school success. Funding will support the operation of high-quality Migrant and Seasonal Head Start (MSHS) services provided to low-income farmworker families that migrate during the harvest season to engage in agricultural labor. Projects must be designed in a manner that ensures continuous services and seamless transitions for children.
Eligibility is limited to applicants that provide services to eligible children and their families in the states of Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Texas, Oklahoma, Nevada, Colorado, and New Mexico.
