Description:

The purpose of this program is to support initiatives at tribal colleges and universities that strengthen the teaching and study of the humanities. Projects must be organized around a core topic or set of themes, and may involve such subjects as history, philosophy, religion, literature, and composition and writing skills. Projects may, but need not, be related to the cultural identity of the applicant institution.

Supported projects may be modest in scope and duration, or may be expansive, long-term projects.
