Description:
The purpose of this program is to inspire personal and meaningful connections to our National Forests and Grasslands. The program supports results-oriented, on-the-ground conservation and restoration projects that have an immediate, quantifiable impact on the National Forest System. Projects are expected to have lasting impacts on the lands, waters, and wildlife of the National Forest System through the alteration of the physical environment.
Projects must fall under one of the following program areas:
- Outdoor experiences
- Forest health
- Integrated projects
Eligible applicants:
501(c)(3) nonprofits, universities, and federally recognized Native American tribes
