Description:
The purpose of this program is to fund innovative training programs that integrate behavioral health care into primary care, particularly in rural and underserved settings with a special emphasis on the treatment of opioid use disorder. This program is a component of the Primary Care Training and Enhancement (PCTE) Program, which functions to strengthen the primary care physician and physician assistant workforce by supporting enhanced training for future and current primary care clinicians, teachers, and educators, and to promote primary care practice.
