Rocky Mountain Health Foundation is offering grants for programs to serve women, people of color, and people in poverty who are interested in careers in healthcare and mental health. Applicants must contact the funding source prior to submitting an application. As well, programs must serve residents of the following counties: Grand, Jackson, Moffat, Rio Blanco, Routt, Mesa, Eagle, Garfield, Lake, Pitkin, Summit, Delta, Gunnison, Montrose, Ouray, Archuleta, Dolores, Hinsdale, La Plata, Montezuma, San Juan, and San Miguel counties.

Eligible costs include:

• Scholarships for behavioral health or healthcare related degrees or certifications (such as MSW, LCSW, CAC, CNA, Personal Care Provider)

• Professional supervision for licensure and internships

• Paid internships & internship living expenses

• Instructional equipment (simulation labs, etc)

Ineligible for funding:

• Capital construction or endowment campaigns

• Debt reduction or loans

• Educational institutions, except for programs that align with our mission

• Environmental stewardship programs

• Individuals

• Marketing plans and materials

• Policy, advocacy, or research

• Political causes, candidates, organizations, or campaigns

• Religious organizations for religious purposes

• Special events

• Sponsorships for events, conferences, speakers

• Travel, conferences, group meetings, or seminars

• Organizations or projects that unlawfully discriminate with regard to employees, volunteers, delivery of services, or clients served based on age, sex, religion/creed, race, color, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, marital status, military or veteran status, pregnancy, or genetic information

Eligible applicants:

An eligible applicant is a 501(c)(3), a 509(a) or a governmental, tribal, school, or public entity.
