Description:
The purpose of this program is to provide funding for the development, expansion, or strengthening of victim service programs for victims of human trafficking. A victim of trafficking is defined as a person who has been subjected to a severe form of trafficking in persons, which means:
  1. Sex trafficking in which a commercial sex act is induced by force, fraud, or coercion, or in which the person induced to perform such an act has not attained 18 years of age
  2. The recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for labor or services through the use of force, fraud, or coercion for the purpose of subjection to involuntary servitude, peonage, debt bondage, or slavery
Funding will be provided for the following program components:
  1. (Part A): Purpose Area 1: Developing Capacity to Serve Human Trafficking Victims
  2. (Part B): Purpose Area 2: Enhancing Scope of Services for Human Trafficking Victims
  3. (Part C): Purpose Area 3: Specialized Services for Human Trafficking Victims
