Description:
The purpose of this program is to support organizations that align with at least one of the following four focus areas:
- Healthy communities: providing support, training, and rehabilitation to individuals and families facing significant challenges, and helping individuals and families develop capabilities to increase self-sufficiency
- Disability and empowerment: helping people with disabilities thrive independently and overcome barriers to social and economic success, and providing relief during transitions to independent living
- Cultural development: offering multicultural art programs and providing enhanced access for the underserved, with an emphasis on building audiences and promoting the arts through education, interactive media, and artistic excellence
- Education and advancement: fostering strategic learning initiatives to better prepare children for success, with an emphasis on programs that strengthen the quality of education, early childhood education, and workforce development
