Description:
The purpose of this program is to prevent, detect, inventory, control, and monitor weed populations on public lands in Colorado. The program will also allow recipients to work with the funding agency to provide weed education materials for distribution to the public. The program will contribute to the development of partnerships to work collaboratively to serve public interests and advance the goals of land health. Additionally, such partnerships will advance prevention activities that control new infestations and remove existing infestations of noxious weeds and invasive species in order to gain efficiencies across multiple jurisdictions.
