Description:
The purpose of this program is to help tennis facilities defray some of the tennis-related costs associated with reopening in 2020 if the facility closed due to the impact of COVID-19. Funding will be used to help tennis facilities with at least four courts that are open to the public for play and/or programming with tennis-related costs for equipment, cleaning and sanitizing, or other tennis-related expenses needed to reopen once local, state, and federal guidelines allow. Funds may be used for:
  1. Tennis balls and teaching equipment, such as tubes, carts, and ball hoppers
  2. No-touch items, such as scanning software and automatic/sliding doors
  3. Cleaning services, including disposable gloves, disinfectant, and cleaning equipment
  4. Marketing expenses
  5. Other tennis-related expenses associated with reopening to the public
