Needs Assessment

Jefferson County’s Department of Human Services (JeffCO) contracted with Joining Vision and Action (JVA) in 2017 to facilitate a comprehensive community needs assessment (CNA) designed to better understand current needs and assets of lowerincome community residents and those who serve this community, with specific focus on the nine federal objectives of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG): employment; education and cognitive development; income, infrastructure and asset building; housing; health and social/behavioral development; civic engagement and community involvement; services supporting multiple domains; linkages; and agency capacity building.
