Description:

The purpose of this program is to partner with tribes, Native nonprofit organizations, and Native community groups working in rural and reservation-based communities to preserve, strengthen, and/or renew Native culture and traditions among youth. This program funds projects that focus on Native American youth and incorporate culture and tradition to address relevant social issues, such as drug and alcohol abuse, teen pregnancy, mental health, and other social issues. This program is intended to invest in youth and give them a sense of place and tradition in the community to help them develop as bright and capable future leaders.
