Description:
The purpose of this program is to support charitable organizations in various areas, including those in which the funding agency’s board has special knowledge and interest. Traditionally, the funding agency has provided funding for organizations in the following fields:
- Arts and culture
- Education
- The environment
- Health and human services, especially women’s issues and services for people living with AIDS
Preference is given to organizations located in the regions of Gainesville, Florida; Atlanta or Decatur, Georgia (within Fulton and Dekalb counties); Boulder, Colorado; and western Massachusetts (primarily Hampshire County); and Rhode Island.
