The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Veterans Business Development requests statement of interest for the Boots to Business (B2B) program funding opportunity from organizations interested in providing entrepreneurship training to transitioning servicemembers, veterans, and military spouses interested in starting and growing a small business.The B2B entrepreneurial development program provides introductory and follow-on small business ownership education and training to U.S. military service members and spouses (including members of the Reserve and National Guard) via the U.S. Department of Defense’s Transition Assistance Program (TAP).Statements of interest are expected to provide insight on the potential applicants experience in administering entrepreneurship training programs by utilizing instructors with practical experience in starting, owning, and operating businesses to clients, specifically veterans and military spouses, in addition to those interested in starting new businesses or those who currently own an established business and are seeking opportunities for expansion or diversification. This request for statements of interest closes at 11:59 p.m. on December 16, 2016. All SOIs must be submitted through the grants.gov web-portal at www.grants.gov.
