Description:
The purpose of this program is to support the participation of low-income parents in postsecondary education through the provision of campus-based child care services.
Applicants are required to meet both of the following absolute priorities:
- Absolute priority 1: projects that are designed to leverage significant local or institutional resources, including in-kind contributions, to support the activities assisted under section 419N of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA)
- Absolute priority 2: projects that are designed to utilize a sliding fee scale for child care services provided under section 419 of the HEA in order to support a high number of low-income parents pursuing postsecondary education at the institution
