DEDO is seeking proposals from organizations that provide services such as nonprofit technical assistance; job training/skill development to promote economic mobility; small business support; and community-based services such as affordable childcare, physical and mental health, youth activities, community leadership development, and healthy food access. Services and programs will be funded through Denver’s annual allocation of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), for which DEDO serves as the fund administrator. Three virtual pre-bid sessions will be held for applicants during this solicitation, including:

General Information Meeting on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 2-4 p.m.

Technical Q&A on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 1-2 p.m.; and

Technical Q&A on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 11 a.m.-Noon.

Eligible applicants:

Among other factors, preference is being placed on proposals serving constituents from DEDO’s Neighborhood Equity & Stabilization (NEST) priority neighborhoods of Elyria- Swansea, Globeville, Northeast Parkhill, East Colfax, Montbello, Sun Valley, Valverde, Villa Park, West Colfax, and Westwood, and/or serving vulnerable populations. This solicitation for neighborhood support services does not include HUD-funded housing programs, which are now coordinated through the Denver Office of Housing Stability (HOST).
