Colorado Farm and Food Systems Respond and Rebuild Fund

Description:

The purpose of the program is to support for-profit and nonprofit organizations in eligible regions to address the needs of food producers confronting challenges reaching markets due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Funding will be awarded to programs in the areas of business model pivots, making up costs due to the pandemic, and intermediaries supporting producers across regional food systems. Applicants must be in Colorado’s agricultural regions.

Based on findings from round one, the application has been updated and funding guidelines focus on:

1. Existing losses or costs due to COVID-19
2. Funds necessary to support business model pivots
3. Intermediaries supporting producers across regional food systems

Eligible applicants:

individual producers, processors and intermediaries in Colorado’s agricultural regions (including the Front Range)
