Description:
The purpose of this program is to address unmet recreational trail needs by supporting construction, maintenance, and planning/support projects. In general, eligible use of funds include:
- Consultant or contracted services
- Permanent or seasonal staff salaries
- Rental costs
- Trail tools
- Supplies and materials for work on the project including restoration activities
- Youth programs
- Land acquisitions for trail development
- Awards for volunteer recognition
- Shipping, handling, freight, mobilization, and traffic control
- Emergency beacon locators
