Description:

The purpose of this program is to reduce harmful emissions from older, dirtier diesel school buses by providing rebate incentives to public and private fleet owners for the replacement of such vehicles. This program is designed to encourage school bus fleet turnover so that more children can ride buses with the cleanest emissions standards. New buses are expected to reduce pollution by over 90 percent compared to older diesel buses.
