FedEx is committed to supporting the communities we serve by strategically investing our time, resources, and network. We accept funding proposals by invitation only from U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and Canadian-based organizations with charitable Business Number registration, and we are unable to respond to individual requests for funding. Priority is assigned to programs that fall within our three core focus areas:

  1. Delivering for Good – Lending our global network and unparalleled logistics expertise to organizations with mission-critical needs and helping communities before, during and after crises.
  2. Sustainable Logistics – Supporting the entire logistics industry and the communities we serve to operate more sustainably through improved urban mobility solutions, sustainable fleet technology and natural environment restoration.
  3. Global Entrepreneurship – Advancing women and minority-owned small businesses globally through training and increased access to resources, capital and new markets.

All interested applicants must use Fedex’s online application and will be required to submit the following information:

  1. Brief description of your organization, including background and mission statement
  2. Overview of the proposed use of FedEx assistance
  3. Explanation of why assistance is needed
  4. Description of the geographic area and population served by this particular project
  5. Detailed information on your organization’s anticipated sources of revenue and expenses
  6. Detailed information on how you will measure the project’s success
  7. Detailed timeline

Eligible applicants:

  1. FedEx only considers proposals from U.S.-based organizations that have been designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) and Canadian-based organizations with charitable Business Number registration. Additional evaluation is required for organizations outside the U.S. and Canada. • Organizations must be in good financial and public standing, show evidence of competent management, have low administrative/fundraising expense ratios and manage nondiscriminatory programs benefiting broad segments of the community.

  3. Corporate grants are eligible to organizations that meet these qualifications and are aligned with our core value of nondiscrimination.

To be considered for support, proposals should fit within our funding priorities and show evidence of active engagement by one or more FedEx team members. Priority is assigned to proposals that fall within the three core pillars.
