Description:
The purpose of this program is to provide street-based prevention services to runaway, homeless, and street youth who have been subjected to, or are at risk of being subjected to, sexual abuse, prostitution, sexual exploitation, and severe forms of human trafficking. Projects must assist youth who are younger than 22 years of age, and provide them with evidence-informed prevention and intervention strategies that build skills that will contribute to the healthy, positive, productive functioning of children and the healthy transition into adulthood; end the sexual victimization of youth; and identify youth victims of labor and sex trafficking. The long-term outcome of projects is expected to be youth attainment and maintenance of safe, stable housing.
