The purpose of this program is to positively impact the lives of people in low-income communities through the investigation and development of innovative, community-based solutions that address social and public health. Award recipients will receive funding and technical assistance to assess the feasibility and development of projects using the Pay for Success model. Supported projects must focus on solutions that support the Social Innovation Fund’s priority areas of economic opportunity, healthy futures, and youth development. The Social Innovation Fund is a federal initiative within the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS).
Applicants must identify a policy area in which they wish to explore implementation of new services, or scaling of existing services, achieving positive outcomes by engaging new sources of capital. Policy areas may include recidivism, homelessness, and early childhood education.
