Description:

The purpose of this program is to reduce the incidence of violence against women by offering financial support to domestic violence women’s shelters across the United States. The funding agency intends to disburse awards to at least one applicant from every state from which an application is received. The remaining funds will be distributed to applicants based on state population. The program supports the funding agency’s mission to stop the violence, break the silence, and make a difference for the women and children affected.
