Description:
The purpose of this program is to support the acquisition and/or development of public lands for outdoor recreation purposes. Supported projects must be located within or serve jurisdictions delineated by the U.S. Census Bureau as urbanized areas. In addition, projects must be located in or directly accessible to neighborhoods or communities that are underserved in terms of parks and recreation resources, and that have significant populations of people who are economically disadvantaged.
Eligibility is limited to applicants located in the following urbanized cities/jurisdictions: Aurora, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver, Erie, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Greeley, Lafayette, Lakewood, Longmont, Louisville, and Pueblo.
