The purpose of this program is to support university teams in the provision of journalism experiments that explore new ways of providing news to the local community. The goal of this program is to provide better local news coverage, bridge academic and professional gaps, better train students, and generate meaningful lessons for digital news. Successful projects will include ambition, innovation, collaboration, and discovery. Projects that increase community engagement are encouraged.
