Description:
The purpose of this program is to support regional partnerships that provide, through interagency collaboration and integration of programs, activities and services that are designed to increase well-being, improve permanency, and enhance the safety of children who are in an out-of-home placement or are at risk of being placed in out-of-home care as a result of a parent’s or caregiver’s substance abuse. Award recipients are expected to have a collaborative infrastructure in place that is capable of building the region’s capacity to meet a broad range of needs for families involved with substance use disorder treatment, child welfare systems, courts, and other service organizations.
