Description:
The purpose of this program is to better expand and advance the understanding about what works to prevent violence by supporting investigator-initiated research that rigorously evaluates primary prevention strategies to address specific gaps in the prevention of violence that impacts children and youth, collectively referred to as adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). The program will support efforts to reduce multiple forms of violence impacting children and youth, including child abuse and neglect, teen dating violence, sexual violence, youth violence, youth/parent suicidal behavior, and exposure to adult intimate partner violence.
