Description:
The purpose of this program is to reduce homelessness, increase housing stability, and increase positive health outcomes for Coloradans living without a home by increasing the production of supportive housing (SH) for people who are experiencing homelessness with special needs. For the purposes of this program, SH is defined as decent, safe, affordable, community-based housing that provides tenants with all the rights and responsibilities of tenancy, tenancy support services, and links to other intensive supportive services using best practices for SH, particularly the Housing First, Harm Reduction, and Trauma Informed Care approaches.
