Description:

The prime objective of the Wounded Warrior Service Dog Program (WWSDP) is to support service members/veterans with disabilities across diverse geographic regions and population demographics by funding nonprofit organizations committed to advancing the service dog industry through continued learning, innovative training programs, and superior industry standards. Disabled service members/veterans are to be provided with trained service dogs matched to their disabilities, at no cost.

Eligible applicants:

Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations who are in the business of training and providing service dogs to individuals with disabilities (including service members and veterans). Pass-through entities will not be considered. Current and past recipients of WWSDP grants are eligible to apply and compete for FY2022 WWSDP grants; however, applications for renewal or supplementation of existing awards will not be considered.
