Description:

The purpose of this program is to advance the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of alcoholism, chemical dependency, and addictive behavior, and to provide support for related research and education. Funding will support organizations whose primary purpose is to operate treatment programs to help individuals recover from alcoholism, drug addiction, and other forms of substance use disorder. The funding agency is particularly interested in expanding or supporting new projects that address the lack of treatment services by allowing more people to seek recovery.
