In what may be the easiest way to donate money ever (especially considering that it doesn’t require donating any actual money), Denver-based Chipotle has announced that it will donate $10,000 dollars for every 100,000 junk mails it receives from its fans to The Lunch Box, a Boulder nonprofit that provides school districts with the tools and information to provide healthier school lunches. Chipotle will donate up to $100,000 total.

So what’s the connection between junk mail and healthy school lunches, you might ask? According to a Denver Business Journal article, The Lunch Box takes the junk out of school lunch recipes and provides the recipes to schools in order to make good food available to all kids, a mission that resonates with Chipotle’s use of hormone- and antibiotic-free meat and other sustainable ingredients.
