And, through the end of the year, you can sign up for the next EDA and get a $100 discount. It’s a great last-minute Christmas or Hanukkah gift idea. The next EDA runs from April 13, 2010, to May 27, 2010, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3–6 p.m. (Click here or call Kim Marker at 303.477.4896 to register.)

Since 2007, EDA has been a staple of JVA’s trainings and workshops. Executive director hopefuls and active nonprofit leaders have graduated from the academy with critical information and skills that they need to know to be effective in their jobs. EDA includes sessions on management, governance, fundraising, finances, marketing, grantwriting, evaluation and more, all tailored to the new ED.

In addition to EDA, JVA is finalizing a schedule of over 25 trainings that will be offered in 2010, including  a few new ones that will respond to the direct requests from the nonprofit community over the last year. As always, JVA’s trainings will provide best-practice content, nonprofit knowledge and expertise to enable your organization to be more successful and sustainable in 2010. Check out www.jvaconsulting.com/training in about a week for the complete 2010 training schedule or call Kim at 303.477.4896 to give your input to our workshop planning. Looking down the road to 2010 gives JVA a lot to be excited about.
