Arapahoe County – Community Needs Assessment

Arapahoe County’s Community Resources Department contracted with Joining Vision and Action (JVA) in 2017 to facilitate a comprehensive community needs assessment (CNA) designed to better understand current needs and assets of lower-income community residents and those who serve this community, with specific focus on the nine federal objectives of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG): education, emergency services, employment, health, housing, income management, linkages, nutrition and self-sufficiency. The results of this assessment will enable the CSBG Tripartite Board to examine key issues and challenges facing the county and make informed decisions in the allocation of funding.
